It is also a center for international agricultural trade and commerce.

Horticulture is the art or practice of garden cultivation and management. Horticulture includes arboriculture, floriculture, landscape horticulture, landscape design, olericulture, pomology, and viticulture.
Our programs cover plant identification, landscape design, construction and maintenance, soils and plant nutrition, plant production and marketing, irrigation and water conservation, integrated pest management, and sustainable horticultural practices.
